Spark Magazine is a 200+ page, student-run fashion publication at The University of Texas at Austin that aims to cultivate a creative space for individuals to develop and to engage the community in an ongoing dialogue about the role of fashion in everyday life. ​

 

As the art director of issues 7, 8, & 9,
I oversaw the design of all layouts and illustrations, from concept to execution. This included the title pages, typesetting, composition of individual spreads, and the overall balance of the stories in the magazine. Alongside the creative director, I helped ensure that the magazine was visually cohesive in terms of how the content was presented and how each of the photo shoots looked and felt.
